Policy for handling personal data and cookies

1. General

Our policy for handling personal data describes how we within the KABE group process and protect your personal information. The policy applies to KABE’s website, to other services where there is a reference to our policy, and when you contact us in any other way at Kabe. Depending on the nature of your contact with us, different companies within the KABE group may be responsible for personal data processing. By visiting kabe.se, you accept the terms of this personal data handling policy and have the opportunity to consent to cookies in connection with your use of the website. Specific terms apply for the use of services offered on the website.

The responsible parties for the website are KABE AB, with reg. no. 556075-7832, and KABE Group AB, with reg. no. 556097-2233. For contact and inquiries, please send an email to kabe@kabe.se. 2. Cookies

Kabe.se uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file stored on the visitor’s computer. A cookie can be either a session cookie or a persistent cookie. A session cookie disappears when the browser is closed, while a persistent cookie is stored for a longer period. The persistent cookie is stored so that the website visitor can use kabe.se as intended. This may include saving language preferences or other settings to facilitate the visitor’s next visit.

Regarding behavior on kabe.se, IP addresses are not stored in our databases. As a website visitor, information about you can never be linked to your identity.

Kabe.se also uses cookies to count and report the number of users and traffic. We also use third-party cookies from other companies to conduct market research and traffic measurements. Through your browser, you can delete cookies and disable the ability for us to store cookies on your computer. However, choosing to do so may cause several functions on kabe.se to stop working correctly.

Your personal privacy is important to us, and we want you to know that KABE takes responsibility for protecting your rights and privacy. We continuously work to ensure that our routines regarding personal data processing are adequate and followed, and we have also conducted training sessions for our dealers to give them good conditions to act correctly in their operations.

The personal data we process may be those you choose to provide us, for example if you contact us via the form on the website or send us an email. We will use this information to best handle and respond to your inquiry. If you subscribe to the newsletter, the data will also be used in connection with the management of mailings and for marketing purposes. We may also have received your personal data from a third party, such as your employer if you represent a dealer or supplier to us. The personal data may be disclosed to our partners in the manner and extent necessary to fulfill our commitments to you, such as sending newsletters. We aim to only collect personal data for specific, explicitly stated, and legitimate purposes, and only collect data necessary for these purposes. We actively work to limit storage through data deletion. We will take reasonable measures to ensure that the data is accurate.

KABE strives not to transfer personal data to third countries, but if deemed appropriate or necessary, this can only occur after adequate security measures have been implemented and documented. As a data subject, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct any incorrect data, request deletion, object to processing, or data portability. The data controller is KABE Group AB.

You can contact us at any time via kabe@kabe.se with questions regarding the handling of your personal data or if you no longer want your data to be registered with us. If you have any complaints regarding our processing of your personal data, you are welcome to contact us, but you also have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (www.datainspektionen.se).
