The details that make the difference – that's why KABE is so comfortable to live in
Published
Comfort is about more than soft cushions and stylish interior design. A pleasant indoor climate, well-thought-out beds, efficiently planned kitchens, and smart technology are some of the other elements that play a significant role. At KABE, comfort is the result of long-term development work where every detail contributes to a more enjoyable camping experience.
Comfortable beds and practical kitchens A good night’s sleep is one of the most important prerequisites for a successful holiday. That’s why KABE’s models are equipped with high-quality pocket spring mattresses and well-ventilated bed constructions that provide excellent comfort and contribute to a pleasant sleeping environment. Several floor plans also offer generous long beds or spacious double beds, suitable for longer stays. The camping kitchen has gained an increasingly important role. For the 2027 model year, several kitchens are being developed with larger work surfaces, improved sinks, and new metal-reinforced drawers with soft-close mechanisms.
– New ovens with convection functions and modern induction solutions make it possible to cook just like at home, even during longer trips, says Zac Karlsson, Sales Manager Sweden.

FlexiStorage
Smart storage and heating systems
Practical storage is an important part of everyday comfort. KABE works with well-designed overhead cabinets, deep drawers, and large garage spaces where equipment can be easily organized. In several motorhome models, the optional FlexiStorage is introduced – a modular system with panels, mesh pockets, and bags that can be customized to the user's needs. If there is one feature strongly associated with KABE, it is the heating system.
– The waterborne Alde heating, combined with waterborne underfloor heating, provides a consistent temperature throughout the vehicle without cold floors or large temperature differences, says Zac Karlsson.
Well-insulated walls, roof, and floors help retain heat while reducing energy consumption. In several models, the system is complemented with efficient ventilation and heated spaces for water installations and garages, making the vehicles well suited for year-round use.
Modern Technology
Comfort also involves technology that makes everyday life easier. With KABE's Smart D 2.0, heating, lighting, water levels, and several other functions can be controlled from a single touchscreen or via mobile phone. Powerful lithium batteries, efficient charging systems, and well-sized electrical systems provide excellent opportunities to camp without external power for extended periods.

Holistic Approach
KABE's philosophy is based on how all details work together. The beds, kitchen, heating system, storage, and digital technology are developed to create a recreational vehicle that functions just as well during a summer week by the sea as during a winter trip to the mountains. It is precisely this holistic approach that has helped KABE build a reputation over many years as one of the market's leading manufacturers in comfort and all-year-round usability.
