KABE is now introducing its 2027 model year, featuring even more comfort and a premium feel—as well as a host of new features in the kitchen.

Since 1957, KABE has been building caravans in Tenhult, Sweden, and developing leisure vehicles designed for the Scandinavian climate. For almost 70 years, KABE has been at the forefront of caravan and motorhome development, launching innovations that have enhanced the camping experience for customers throughout Europe.

Smart D 2.0

For model year 2026, KABE took another major technological leap with the new Smart D 2.0 control panel. The system is based on modern CAN bus technology, enabling faster, more stable and more precise control of the vehicle’s functions. It also features a completely new user interface, Bluetooth connectivity and automatic updates.

Customer benefits in focus

For model year 2027, KABE continues to develop the market’s most comfortable leisure vehicles for year-round use. This year’s innovations further enhance both the user experience and the high level of comfort that characterises the brand – with a focus on smarter kitchen solutions, improved functionality, increased comfort and even more refined design.

– We continue to develop our products based on our customers’ needs and wishes. Model year 2027 introduces several new features that make life on the road both easier and more comfortable, while building on the qualities that have made KABE a market leader in comfort and year-round use.

Modern kitchens and enhanced comfort – this year KABE puts cooking in the spotlight

KABE offers the widest range of caravans on the market. For model year 2027, the range is being further enhanced. One of the new features is the updated layout of the 630 TDL FK in the Royal and Imperial series, featuring a larger seating area and a front kitchen. At the same time, several popular models are being further developed with improved interior solutions. Among these, the updated angled kitchens provide a wider passage through the caravan while making the work surfaces more easily accessible. The kitchen layout has been optimised to create a better workflow without compromising on storage space.

The kitchen has received particular attention for the new model year. Several series are equipped with new kitchen drawers featuring a robust metal construction for increased stability, improved fit and greater adjustment possibilities. The drawer fronts remain finished in wood. A larger sink with improved drainage also provides greater everyday functionality.

New convection oven from Thetford

Better cooking with a convection oven and air fryer

Among this year’s most important innovations is an entirely new convection oven developed together with Thetford. The oven is exclusive to KABE for model year 2027 and offers more even heat distribution, faster cooking and lower energy consumption. The Royal series also comes with an induction stove as standard, further enhancing comfort in the kitchen.

For customers looking to take cooking to the next level, KABE is also introducing a new option combining an air fryer, microwave and oven – a flexible solution that makes it easy to cook, bake and reheat meals while travelling.

Music to enhance the journey

All models are equipped with a new DSP box featuring Bluetooth connectivity, making it easy to connect a mobile phone and control the caravan’s audio system directly from the phone. Smart D 2.0 also includes IP radio, allowing users to listen to radio stations from their home country while travelling abroad.

The exterior also receives an update. In the Estate and Imperial series, the high-gloss graphics are replaced by a semi-matt finish, giving the caravans a calmer and more exclusive appearance. The interior is complemented by new textile and leather collections for a more contemporary look.

Smart details

Many of this year’s innovations focus on details that make a noticeable difference in everyday use. Royal and Imperial can now be equipped with the FanTastic Ventilation System, which improves air circulation and contributes to lower energy consumption. KABE is also introducing a new accessory in the form of a holder for a capsule coffee machine – a small detail that demonstrates how modern camping life continues to inspire product development.

Overall, model year 2027 brings a range of carefully considered improvements. KABE continues to develop its models with a focus on functionality, quality and comfort – qualities that have always been hallmarks of the company.
