Learn more about all of KABE's unique advantages in the categories:
KABE quality from the ground up
Maximum stability and moisture protection – KABE iWall construction
- The body is constructed using the Sandwich principle with outer sheet metal, 36 mm Ecoprim insulation, inner sheet metal, and wall wallpaper that absorbs any potential condensation.
- Ecoprim is a moisture-safe material made with closed cells, which prevents it from absorbing any moisture.
- Aluminum sheet metal on both sides of the Ecoprim insulation reduces the impact of temperature differences.
Double-screwed aluminum profile for maximum strength
- Custom-designed, extra-wide profile at the junction between the roof and wall.
- The profile features an air gap that ventilates the seam between the wall and roof.
- Built-in awning rail on both sides of the caravan.
- KABE's unique iWall construction provides an unlimited number of attachment points – important when installing optional equipment.
Roof hatch locks are protected in several steps
- The gap between the roof and wall is first sealed thoroughly with elastic butyl sealant.
- Next, we fold the roof sheet over the wall sheet – overlapping, of course – to completely prevent leaks.
- Butyl tape is used throughout on all sheet metal joints, overlaps, and screw penetrations.
- Approximately 20 kg of sealing compound per caravan.
Built for extreme loads, e.g., large amounts of snow on the roof
- Additional crossbars between longitudinal chassis rails provide a more stable floor and an extra torsion-resistant chassis.
- Intermediate beams for optimal stability.
- The chassis has extensions from the longitudinal side beams to relieve the load where the floor and walls are joined.
Plastic trims with long lifespan and better resale value
- KABE uses plastic strips with embedded air channels on all moisture-prone parts of the body.
- KABE has designed and patented the plastic strips.
- Plastic strips have excellent insulating properties.
- The plastic strips also provide better bonding between different parts of the body.

Climate-smart technology for a more comfortable caravan life
The following are always included as standard in all
caravans from KABE:
- ALDE Compact heater.
- AGS II or AGS II Pro waterborne floor heating.
- Maximized convector length and densely packed convectors.
- Optimized ventilation system.
- Interior design adapted for full air circulation.
- iWall construction.
Stable indoor temperature – even when the cold bites outside
- ALDE Compact 3030 heating boiler with touchscreen display and 3 kW electric heater, as well as Propandrift at 5.5 kW (5500 W), providing a total power of 8.5 kW.
- The heating system features a 12 V circulation pump, integrated water heater, and separate expansion tank.
- The enclosure around the propane unit provides maximum hot water efficiency.
- The roof chimney is available in several models for optimal operational reliability.
Integrated comfort – even heat throughout the entire living space
- The underfloor heating system is connected to the convector system, which causes the air to circulate throughout the entire caravan when the heating is turned on.
- The system is powered by both propane and electric heater elements.
- KABE has extra-wide convectors beneath all windows to achieve maximum heat in the airflow, helping to vent any condensation away from the windows.
Better indoor climate with inner panels in the walls
- KABE's sandwich construction consists of outer sheet metal, eco-priming insulation, inner sheet metal, and wall wallpaper.
- The heat from the radiators spreads upward along the walls.
- The sheet metal behind the wallpaper is heated by the indoor temperature and helps to counteract condensation.
- The inner sheet metal in the walls distributes the heat across the entire wall (compared to, for example, plywood in the walls, which does not conduct any heat at all).
Efficient ventilation – always protected against moisture damage
- KABE is the only manufacturer with a ventilating wallpaper that allows the warm air circulating along the walls to pass through.
- Condensation at the floor level is captured by the ventilating mat installed along the outer edge and is dried out when you turn on the heat.
- KABE's wallpaper also has a sound-dampening effect.
Thoughtful heat distribution – comfort in every corner
- KABE's construction allows airflows to pass freely from the floor, beneath beds and sofas, up to the ceiling and through the ventilated overhead cabinets.
- KABE has the market's best and most even heat distribution
in the living area and in other spaces such as wardrobes, bathrooms, and overhead cabinets.
Automatic power boost and overload protector
- The boiler automatically detects when propane is needed for increased power.
- The electrical power draw from the boiler is automatically reduced during particularly heavy loads, for example when multiple electric appliances are running simultaneously.
- KABE's winter connection is very practical for parked winter caravans. You simply turn on the electric heater and circulation pump by activating the winter connection. When you connect to electricity (230 V) via the external power outlet, the winter connection is activated at the preset temperature.
Comfortable, warm floors throughout the caravan
- Proprietary, patent-pending automatic hydronic underfloor heating system – AGS II – with four loops provides even more consistent warmth.
- The heat circulates through aluminum pipes and extends all the way to the front door, the workbench, and the bathroom.
- Heating plates distribute the warmth evenly across the entire floor.
More than just warmth – AGS II Pro provides you with the right heat, all the time
- With AGS II Pro (standard in Ädelsten, Royal, and Imperial), the underfloor heating can operate independently.
- A mixing valve regulates the temperature of the water circulating in the floor.
- To reduce energy consumption, the system is interval-controlled. The water in the underfloor heating circulates within specific time intervals, which decreases energy use in the boiler and conserves the battery.
Correct temperature – regardless of the season
- KABE's insulation in walls and windows provides warmth in winter and coolness in summer.
- To prevent drafts, we pay extra attention to insulation around the fresh air intake and heat convectors.
- The insulation contributes to optimal heat exchange.
- With dual temperature sensors, one in the sleeping area and one in the front section, the heat can be adjusted to the part of the caravan where you are located.
Efficient and energy-smart details
- Maximum heat is absorbed from the convector and accelerates the airflow along the wall.
- Seat backs and cabinet edges are angled to allow the airflow to pass freely past the windows.
- The cabinet edge contains electrical wiring, water, and drain hoses.
- During winter, the construction quickly thaws residual water in the hoses.
Optimal air circulation and unobstructed airflow – everywhere
- The distance between sofas and beds and the angle of the sofa backs are precisely calculated.
- This creates an air gap that allows full airflow beneath the bed drawers and beds.
- The sofa back and air gap near the beds become heated when warm air passes along the wall.
- The overhead cabinets have built-in air channels to allow warm air to pass freely past the joint between the ceiling and wall and further into the center of the caravan.
- An intermediate wall at the rear edge of the cabinets keeps the channels open even when the cabinets are filled.
Adjust the air intake to suit your needs – with KABE's unique VarioVent
- Patented ventilation system allows for regulation of the amount of fresh air as needed.
- The system is equipped with a ventilation opening that is controlled with a sliding control.

Safety first – always
We know that the road can present tough challenges. Slippery conditions, rain, and rapid temperature changes are everyday occurrences for many caravan travelers. That’s why safety is always a top priority.
KABE Safety Driving System
A stable chassis with hot-dip galvanized steel profiles, longer drawbars, and anti-sway axles provides a secure and comfortable driving experience. An electronic anti-skid system is included in Royal and Imperial, available as an option in Ädelsten (not Estate).
Extra rigid chassis – stability from the ground up
Additional crossbars between the longitudinal chassis rails provide a more stable floor and a torsionally rigid chassis. Strategically placed intermediate beams and outriggers from the side beams relieve the body during heavy loads—for example, when a large amount of snow accumulates on the roof.
Premium tires and friction clutch
All KABE caravans are equipped with a friction coupling for increased safety and stability on the road, and all models come standard with premium tires. Estate is delivered with 14" steel rims, and 15" aluminum rims are included in the design package as an option. The Sten and Royal models come with 15" aluminum rims as standard, while Imperial is equipped with exclusive 17" Diamond Cut aluminum rims (optional for Royal). Models with a maximum permissible weight of 2,300 kg are fitted with 16" aluminum rims, and models with a maximum permissible weight of 3,500 kg have 15" aluminum rims.
